• The most important person to any military type group or organization is the newest member to the unit, as it is the "New Recruit" who does not know or understand all the procedures and drills of the unit, that can result in making a simple mistake that may get the entire unit killed in battle.


• Training Priority will always be assigned to the newest Recruit. It is the responsibility of the Recruit to always ask questions on how or why Dangerous Operations Group does something in a particular way. There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people who don't ask. It is the responsibility of all members to help train new members and make them dangerous.

• To be Dangerous one must have the best communication possible, and the game VOIP while OK is not the best.


• Requirement 03 - We recommend that you become familiar with this Website. It has the basics of how we do things, however we do utilize a In Game Training Program to master our skills.

• Dangerous Operations Group, otherwise known by our tag DOG is a Military Type Unit that plays Planetside2 as a Terran Republic Outfit.


• Planetside2 is a Military MMO FPS Game that permits 2000 people from all over the world to fight alongside, or against each other currently on 3 separate Maps that interconnect. The Maps are 64 x 64 kilometers square, or a total of 2156 Kilometers of dangerous fight-able area.


• Dangerous Operations Group is a member of the Alliance Battle Group Emerald (BGE), comprised of several other Outfits, who work together against our enemies the New Conglomerate and Vanu Sovereignty.


• There are Multiple Servers, but we make our home on the Emerald Server located on the East Coast of the United States, playing on a virtual world, envisioned by the developers of Sony Online Entertainment.


• DOG - is a veteran owned and veteran operated Gaming Community of prior-service, active-duty, retirees, and disabled veterans.


• DOG - Has an International Membership of team players which includes members who did not serve in their Nations Military.


• Civilians are welcome, who wish to experience Military Style, Team Oriented, Mission Focused gameplay in a gaming MMOFPS environment.


• A military background is not required for membership in Dangerous Operations Group.

Honor, Justice, Duty

DOG - Dangerous Operations Group, is a dangerous Light Assault Class, Airborne Ranger type Outfit that plays on a dangerous planet called Emerald in the MMOFPS Planetside 2 game that launched on 20 November 2012.

We are a Global Outfit, with members from all over the world, living in different time zones, who get together every day, have fun, and kick ass against our enemies the Vanu Sovereignty (VS) and the New Conglomerate (NC).

We have a very "Active Player Base" who play 5 days a week, "Reserve Players" who play 2 to 3 days a week, the National Guard - Week End Warriors only, and the Casual Player - Just a few days per each month. But every day we have people playing Planetside2

DOG Recruits must be mature, minimum age 15 years old, willing to be directed by others, enjoy team work, want to have fun and kill the enemy.

DOG Recruits must go through training as a Airborne Infantry Light Assault Class, demonstrate teamwork, the ability to follow direction, sacrifice K/D for mission accomplishment, learn specialties in other class types, operate different vehicles, weapon systems, and different individual weapons, including the knife.

DOG Recruits must successfully, compete and complete a agility course and competence course that includes infantry Light Assault Infantry Assault Tactics, and one on one combat.

Becoming a member of Dangerous Operations Group, wearing the DOG Outfit TAG, working with a team that strives to get the job done, is a privilege not a entitlement or right.

We usually select 2 or 3 people out of every 30 people who join a "DOG Recruit Squad" to actually become a recruit.

Recruits then get training, get to fight alongside proven DOG Warriors, over the course of a few weeks.

Not all recruits can pass the test. However, DOG allows anyone to come back and try to meet the requirements at a later date, and the training you get from us will help your game.

The main play style is Air Mobile, Airborne, Paratrooper type, Close Quarter Combat Style game play. DOG Members deploy from Galaxy, Liberator, and Mosquitoe utilizing different types of Jump Jets depending on mission requirements and availability. Aircraft are generally used for transportation only, however we do have members who are excellent Air Combat Fliers and we do Air Suppression Operations and Air Superiority Missions when needed by the Battle Group Emerald the Alliance we work with.

Dangerous DOG types also play in, and become adept in utilizing different ground vehicles as needed and there are off / event time that we play with different tanks and planes.

There are designated "Cert Requirements" in all military class types and vehicles types. All Outfit members are given a suitable time table to get the required certs.

The primary air vehicle for DOG is the Galaxy; used in a "Anti Air Role" while transporting Outfit Members to dangerous combat zones on the planet Auraxis.

Dangerous Operations Group Scheduled Times:

Scheduled dangerous times will always be depicted in Eastern Standard Time / Eastern Date Time - Monday through Sunday each week - throughout the year .

Scheduled Training is between 1700 Hrs - 7pm but no later than 2300 Hrs - 11 PM on an individual basis for New Recruits, usually in 1 hour classes based on the availability of the Recruit.

Active Outfit dangerous time for DOG is - 2000 Hrs (8pm) to 2300 Hrs (Midnight) - East Coast Prime Time.

Active Outfit time is also used for Outfit Training, Battle Group Emerald Joint Outfit Operations, and Outfit Special Events.

Extended dangerous time for DOG is - 2300 Hrs 11 pm to 0200 Hrs (2am)the following day, and is used for Casual Outfit Group playing.

Outfit Day start/end time is 0300 Hrs (3am) EST.

Event Day Hours will be the length of a Outfit Day unless specific hours are stated for a Special Event.
